Aerial displays will take place this year on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd of July.
The Folkestone and Hythe RAF 100 Air Display will take place over the channel, focusing on Folkestone’s Leas. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will take place at on Saturday 21st July at 1.15pm, and on Sunday 22nd July at 12.15pm, featuring a Lancaster bomber, and Spitfire and Hurricane fighters. After a three-year absence, the Red Arrows will also be performing on Sunday the 22nd of July at 5.00pm.
The event is being organised by Roger Crouch, and Chris Yates of Headcorn Events. Folkestone Rescue will be providing safety services over the weekend. The display will be publicly visible from the Leas, Mermaid Beach and the Harbour Arm.
Display times are as follows:
Saturday 21st July at 1.15pm – Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
Sunday 22nd July at 12.15pm – Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
Sunday 22nd July at 5.00pm – Red Arrows Display
